About
Built in Lagos for investors who plan in decades.
Legacy Portfolio Planner is made by Steve Onu through Steve Systemstech, a small Lagos-based software publisher focused on long-term planning tools.
Why the planner exists
Steve Onu is a Lagos-based investor who wanted a clear, written plan for a long-term family portfolio of Nigerian shares. The tools he found were either built for other markets or stopped at tracking prices. None of them helped him write the plan down, review it each year, or keep records his family could follow.
So he built his own planner in Excel, refined it over time, and then turned it into an app that other Nigerian investors can use. Legacy Portfolio Planner is the result: the same structure, made easier to use, with NGX prices built in.
Mission
To help Nigerian families turn long-term investing into a documented plan they can review, understand and pass on.
What we focus on
Education
Plain-English explanations, a guide inside the app and short Academy lessons. The goal is understanding, not tips.
Long-term planning
Targets in today's money, yearly reviews and written rules, built for timelines of ten years or more.
Clear records
Holdings, dividends and decisions kept in one place, ready to hand on to the people you trust.
What we will not do
- Recommend shares or funds, or tell you when to buy or sell.
- Promise returns or describe projections as forecasts.
- Manage money, hold client funds or act as a broker or adviser.
- Show real customer data. Every example uses Ada Okafor, a fictional investor.
Steve Systemstech is a software publisher. It is not a brokerage, fund manager or investment adviser, and the planner is not investment advice.
